Private 5G

Private 5G

A customized 5G network capable of delivering cutting-edge services

A 5G private network is a tailored 5G system that uses dedicated spectrum—separate from commercial mobile networks—to support advanced services within specific spaces such as buildings, facilities, or designated sites.

In December 2021, the Korean government designated the name “e-um 5G” for these networks through a public contest, and the Ministry of Science and ICT is advancing diverse pilot projects across healthcare, education, logistics, safety, and other public and private sectors.

Leveraging its experience in 5G core development and verification, Nable has obtained licensed telecom operator status to help drive growth in the domestic 5G market. Along with participating in government-led pilot projects (NIA 5G B2B Service Activation – Private Healthcare), Nable is expanding efforts to identify and deploy its own service models for 5G private networks.
